Patricia B. Dwyer is a young Southern California writer with an aggressive and witty style that is uncommon of other young women writers.

She graduated in 2011 from San Diego State University with a B.A. in Journalism. Her time at SDSU as made her a versatile writer with strengths in news writing, features, broadcast, blogging and comedy. Her other passions besides writing include art, surfing and Latin culture.

Aside from her education at SDSU, she has also honed her writerly skills at a number of editorial internships, including one at The La Jolla Light.

While there, she pitched and wrote her own articles for both features and news, and also shot and edited her own photos. She got her hands on her social media as well, and launched a new photo album and tagging strategy campaign on their Facebook page.

Patricia is currently employed as the managing editor at Pacific San Diego Magazine, after working her way up from being their intern and then their editorial assistant. At Pacific she writes, researches, assigns stories, keeps track of their pool of writers and photographers, manages their website, arts, and calendar.
